Facial injuries include soft tissue injuries (skin and gums), bone injuries (fractures), and injuries to sensitive regions such as the eyes, facial nerves, or the salivary glands. For many of the less severe injuries, we provide treatment in our practice. However, for more extreme cases, or injuries that occur after-hours, you should go immediately to the emergency room for treatment.

If your tooth is knocked out, place it in salt water or milk and call us as soon as possible — the sooner the tooth is re-inserted into its socket, the better the chance it will survive. Never attempt to wipe off the tooth as remnants of the ligament that hold the tooth in the jaw are vital to re-inserting it successfully.
